The 20th September 2014 marks the 30th Anniversary of the seminal space combat and trading game Elite.
Now you can celebrate by playing Elite on your Windows PC with Elite: The New Kind, a faithfully conversion of Acornsoft’s classic game.
To play the game:
- Right click on the above link and select Save Link As.
- Save the zip file to a suitable place on you PC.
- Using Windows explorer navigate to the downloaded zip file.
- Right click on the file and select Extract All.
- Click on the Extract button.
- Navigate into the E-TNK v1.1 folder.
- Double click on the newkind.exe file to run the game.
- A description of all the keys to use can be found in the readme.txt file.
